No bake- energy bites!

hiPerfect for a hike, healthy snack, or something quick when your on the go!

What you need:

1 cup (dry) old-fashioned oats

1 cup steel cut oats

1/2 cup almond butter

1/2 cup ground flaxseed

1/2 cup  wheat germ

1/3 cup cocoa chips (optional)

1/3 cup agave

1 Tbsp. chia seeds

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Get Makin’:

Stir all ingredients together in a medium bowl until thoroughly mixed. Let chill in the refrigerator for half an hour. Once chilled, roll into balls of whatever size you would like. (Mine were about 1″ in diameter.) Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week. They don’t necessarily need to be refrigerated, they just wont hold shape as well.

Makes about 20-25 balls.
