Treat your friends, family, your sig fig, ok yourself for breakfast with these super easy, super healthy, super delicious mixed berry vegan scones and cocoa smoothies. We wanted something out of the ordinary, a breakfast treat, so why not indulge on scones and cocoa smoothies? You know everyone will want one..
For the scones you will need:
1/2 cups rolled oats (kept whole)
1 2/3 cups rolled oats, blended into “oat flour” (crumbly texture)
2 tsp baking powder
½ cup dehydrated raspberries
½ cup dehydrated blueberries
¼ cup chia seeds
½ tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp pink salt
2 tsp agave nectar
¼ cup almond milk
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Mix the almond milk and agave together and set aside
Combine the oats, rolled oats, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
Make a well in the flour mixture, and pour in the milk/honey mixture
With your hands, gently mix dry and wet ingredients together without kneading. Be very careful not to over mix, and feel free to add more almond milk if the dough looks dry or crumbly. It should be wet enough to stick together easily
Gently mix in dehydrated berries and chia seeds
Gather the dough together into a mound and pat down to make a disc about 1½-2” high
Place scones on a greased or nonstick baking sheet
Bake for about 12 minutes, or until lightly browned on top
Blend raspberries + beets + pineapple + peach’s + wheat germ + chia + vitamineral green powder+ cocoa+ splash of beet Vital Juice + ice.
