Carmel cocoa cinnamon raw vegan cake

When are we not in the mood for a tasty dessert? Carmel. Cocoa. Cinnamon. yes please. Its great making raw vegan treats on the weekend and having healthy dessert options available for the entire week.

Everything in this cake is a dream come true and we are totally obsessed. The crust is made up of pecans, dates and almonds. The second layer of “carmel”; dates, almond butter and coconut oil and the top of “cocoa”; coconut oil, figs, pecans and of course tons of cocoa. Try our Carmel cocoa cinnamon raw vegan cake, it’s really the perfect healthy cake filled with vitamins, and nutrients, giving you energy. Each ingredient bring on different health benefits. Dates help with allergies, bone health and strength, energy booster. Almond are know for a healthy heart and weight maintenance. Coconut oil, supports healthy thyroid function, and supplement for daily energy and mental alertness. Cinnamon has been proven to reduce inflammation, fight bacteria and have an antioxidant effect. What you will need:


  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup of pecans
  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  • 1 cup dates
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup Turkish dried figs
  • 1/4 cup pecans

Get Makin’:

To make the crust: process the almonds and pecans into your food processor, then add the dates and process until it all begins to stick together. Press into the bottom of a lined spring pan and refrigerate.

To make both the caramel and cocoa layers: blend the ingredients in each list until smooth. Pull the spring pan out from the refrigerator and spread the caramel onto your crust, followed by the cocoa layer. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, or until completely set and then top with raspberries and serve!
