Vegan pizza with all our favorite toppings! Sliced asparagus + beets + avocados + fresh pesto + spinach + yellow peppers + Brussels sprouts + sprinkled lightly with vegan cheese on a herb crust. Perfect for these cold Seattle days, a warm slice of fresh & delicious pizza!
What you need:
Crust: (gluten free recipe)
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 to 1 cup warm water
1 packet yeast
2 teaspoons sea salt & pepper
1 tablespoon Healthandus Seasoning
1 cup tightly packed fresh basil leaves
1/3 cup pine nuts
salt & pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon avocado oil
3 garlic cloves, diced
anything you like really!
Combine the yeast and warm water in a warm mixing bowl. sprinkle in sugar to feed the yeast and let rise (usually 10 minutes) add the other ingredients and kneed the dough or mix in your mixer, until it’s soft (8 minutes). Leave out and bowl covered, to let rise for an hour or until it doubles in size. After roll it out into a pizza crust! You want to pre bake (@425 degrees) the crust before you put on the toppings so it pre cooks and isn’t doughy.
Blend everything and then spread on pizza
Toppings: slice, dice, and arrange all ingredients on the pizza.
Cook pizza for 8-10 more minutes (oven varies) and devour!
