TreeHouse Point

Looking to escape to a unique and relaxing place? I took my boyfriend on a surprise weekend away (not too far away) to Tree house Point in Fall City/ Issaquah for our 2nd anniversary. A friend went here a few years ago and had it on my “to-go” list. Its now topping the list of exotic places to stay, which is no surprise since i had to book a year in advanced for a weekend night.

Arriving at 3:00pm for check in, we were greeted with warm cookies in the main lodge, given a map of the grounds and were off to go see Temple of The Blue Moon.

It has a tree -encased in a window- in the middle of it, and the Raging River right outside the windows which you can walk down to. When i first booked this room, i was hoping it would snow.. It was absolutely enchanting to open the windows and listen to the gurgling river, birdsong, and gentle wind. It was such a fun experience, we walked over the suspension bridge and into our tree.

Its the little details that count. I didn’t even remember telling them i was staying for our anniversary and some how they must of caught it on the phone and taken note to later surprise us with amazing sea salt chocolates, which happen to be Kyle and I’s all time favorite.

They say you will feel like a kid again staying in Temple of the Blue Moon and as we walked over the suspension bridge and into an adult size tree house. We sure did. We explored the other tree houses, river and look out houses along the river. Of course I packed snacks, games, chocolates and wine!

We explored the town that night, stopping at a park before dinner.

The breakfast is complimentary for each guest and is a spread of homemade goods. There is a selection of scones, quiches, biscuits, oatmeal, egg soufflés, toast, yogurt, homemade granola, fresh fruit, coffee, tea- really everything that encompasses a perfect breakfast.

I loved the new bath houses they constructed. The fresh smell of cedar in the new bath houses is still ingrained in my memory. If you want a weekend away to a truly unique destination, TreeHouse Point is just the place.

The next morning we went on a hike at one of our favorite spots, rattlesnake ridge!

Book in advanced because these tree houses fill up fast! WATCH OUR VIDEO HERE!
